Daniel K. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Daniel currently holds the position of Global Head of Lean Management & Sustainability at Kiekert AG, where they started in 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Global Manager of Lean Manufacturing & Sustainability at the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Kiekert AG, Daniel worked at Adient from 2014 to 2022. Their roles at Adient included Head of Industry 4.0 & Sustainable Manufacturing / Operational Excellence EMEA, Manager of Manufacturing Engineering / Operational Excellence EMEA, Manager of Manufacturing Engineering / Specialty Seating Operations, and Manager of Costing / Finance Costing Europe Automotive Experience.

Daniel also has experience at Johnson Controls from 2007 to 2014, where they worked as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, and Launch Engineer. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager & Tool Engineer APAC Manufacturing Engineering at Delphi from 2006 to 2007, and as a Toolmaker for injection & die-cast molding tools at Huf Group from 1995 to 1998.

Daniel K. attended Berufskolleg Essen West from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in System.- und Automatisierungstechnik as a Staatlich geprüfter Maschinenbau Techniker. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in 2021, and as a CE-Beauftragter (CE-Commissioner) from TÜV Rheinland Group in 2018.
