Rob Barton

Rob Barton is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in architecture and project management. Currently serving as Design Lead at Kier Group since September 2018, Barton has led notable projects such as the School of Digital Arts at Manchester Metropolitan University, showcasing state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Prior to this role, Barton held positions at AHR as Associate and Senior Architect, where key projects included the Barbara Hepworth Building at Huddersfield University and the East Quad at Dublin Institute of Technology. Barton’s career began at NJSR Chartered Architects LLP and progressed through various prestigious firms including Aedas and Rafael Vinoly Architects, contributing to significant educational and commercial developments. Educational qualifications include a B.Arch from the University of Manchester and a BA (Hons) from the University of Nottingham, complemented by an RIBA Advanced diploma in professional practice.
