Martijn Treffers

Martijn Treffers has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, in 2022, they joined NEN as a Member. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked at KiesZon as a Manager Engineering and also as a Solar PV Engineer. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Process Quality Manager Solar at Xaam. Before that, from 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Project Manager Solar at ProfiNRG. In 2015, they held the position of Manager Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) at the Norwegian Refugee Council and worked as an Interim Coordinator at ZOA. In 2012 and 2013, they were a Consultant at GIZ. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Shelter Coordinator at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and as a Manager Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) at Oxfam Intermón. Lastly, from 2005 to 2011, they worked as a Consultant, undertaking multiple assignments across various continents with a focus on Water Technologies, Geographical Information Systems, and Mobile data collection.

Martijn Treffers has a diverse education history. Martijn obtained a Master's Degree in Management of Knowledge & Social Change from Wageningen University & Research in 2004. Before that, they completed another Master's Degree in Work & Organizational Psychology from the University of Groningen between 1995 and 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Martijn Treffers has also obtained various certifications. Martijn acquired the EU Dronebewijs A1/A3 and EU Dronebewijs A2 from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency in April 2021. Martijn also became a Registered Solar-Specialist through Switch2Solar in the same month and year.

Furthermore, Martijn Treffers has completed numerous professional training courses. Some of these courses include AutoCAD 2022 Essential Training from Lynda.com in March 2021, Inspecteren Zonnepaneelinstallaties (gevorderden) from Omega Energietechniek in September 2019, and Project Management Foundations, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Managing Technical Teams, Process Improvement Foundations, Setting Team and Employee Goals, all from Lynda.com in April 2017.

Additionally, Martijn Treffers obtained certifications in Managing Data Analysis from Coursera and Tableau 10 Essential Training from Lynda.com in February 2017. Martijn also completed the Introduction to Big Data course from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2017.

Lastly, Martijn Treffers acquired the New Manager Foundations certification from Lynda.com in May 2016 and the Presentation Fundamentals certification from lynda.com in August 2015.
