Alan Donovan

Alan Donovan, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional with a specialized focus on carbon capture and power generation facilities. Since joining Kiewit in October 2015, Alan has held roles including Project Sponsor, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Lead Mechanical Engineer. Prior experience includes a senior mechanical engineering position at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff from October 2013 to September 2015 and a mechanical engineering role at Kiewit Power Engineers from June 2008 to October 2013. Alan's career began as an ASE/SEMA Certified Automotive Technician at Donovan's Service, a family-owned business established in 1937. Education includes a Graduate Certificate in Carbon Capture, Storage and Utilization from Colorado School of Mines (2021-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Kansas (2004-2008).
