Alex Brown

Alex Brown is a skilled professional with experience in survey engineering and estimation engineering, having worked at Kiewit from May 2019 to August 2019. During this role, Alex utilized Trimble Business Center to integrate topographic digital terrain models with 3D designs for construction project visualization, as well as collaborating with civil engineers on various infrastructure projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Remote Sensing/Photogrammetry Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick, where Alex developed an algorithm for change detection using satellite and airborne imagery. Additionally, Alex worked as a Teacher Assistant, supporting geomatics lab courses, and as a Highway Survey Technician at Callon Dietz Incorporated, contributing to various construction and legal survey projects. Alex holds an Engineer's Degree in Geodesy & Geomatics and a Diploma in Technology Management & Entrepreneurship with a focus on Project Management, both from the University of New Brunswick.
