Barbara Capes

Barbara Capes serves as Assistant General Counsel at Kiewit, where they act as primary counsel and strategic advisor for the Eastern Canada and Ganotec Inc. districts, managing complex infrastructure and power projects across diverse contract models. Previously, Barbara held roles at Dentons as a Student-at-Law and Bilingual Litigation and Dispute Resolution Associate, and served as Aide to Legal Affairs at CN. Barbara is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, at Saint Mary's University, along with a Juris Doctor and Licentiate of Laws at the University of Ottawa, and a Licentiate of Laws at the Universität Wien. Passionate about the basketball community in Ontario, Barbara actively coaches young female players.
