Eric Swanson is a structural engineer with a diverse background in federal, municipal, commercial, residential, water, and industrial markets. They served as a lead structural engineer at Stand Structural Engineering Inc from 2019 to 2022, overseeing various building projects and guiding younger engineers. Prior to that, Eric developed expertise in structural analysis and design at Black & Veatch, where they contributed to the ASCE 41 Committee. They currently work as a senior structural engineer at Kiewit while pursuing a Master of Science in Structural Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In a previous role, Eric also dedicated time to being a full-time parent from 2018 to 2019.
