Joel Jackson is an experienced Indirect Lead Estimator at Kiewit, specializing in EPC utility-scale solar and BESS storage projects as well as simple and combined cycle power plants since May 2016. Prior roles included Project Engineer positions overseeing significant projects such as the 198 MW Copperhead Solar facility in Waco, TX, and a temporary 128 MW natural gas plant for the California Emergency Power project. Joel also contributed to structural operations and was a key member of the Advance Work Packaging team, integrating design modeling techniques across project teams. Earlier experience includes R&D Engineering internships at Permobil, and various roles in the hospitality industry at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, as well as a Financial Representative intern role at Northwestern Mutual. Joel earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology from the University of Central Missouri.
