John Callanan

John Callanan is an experienced Electrical Operations Manager at Kiewit since October 2019, overseeing electrical construction operations at the Orange County Sanitation District's wastewater treatment plant. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Kiewit, including Electrical Estimator, where responsibilities included leading a $40 million electrical estimate for a highway project, and District Project Controls Manager, managing project controls and scheduling processes. Additional experience includes serving as Project Superintendent on multiple solar and wind projects and roles as Lead Field Engineer and Engineer/Estimator Intern across various renewable energy initiatives. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Building and Construction Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has participated in multiple training programs at Kiewit University.
