Matthew Blount, EIT, is a Construction Engineering graduate from Purdue University, holding a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 2023. Currently serving as a Girder & Rehab Engineer and Estimator at Kiewit since June 2023, Matthew has previously held various internships within the company, including positions as a Field Engineer Intern, Design Build Estimating Intern, and another role in the same capacity. Responsibilities during these internships encompassed quality inspection, material procurement, and managing stormwater drainage scope on projects. Additional experience includes tutoring middle school students in math and working as a food runner at a local restaurant.
