Mike Nimmo

Mike Nimmo is a Senior Purchasing Specialist at Kiewit, where the focus is on SmartEquip Process Ownership and equipment and maintenance procurement for the Cove Point Project. Having joined Kiewit in February 2010, Mike has also served as District Procurement Manager for the Kiewit Mining Group and as a Business Development Specialist overseeing the materials management and warehousing during the KieCore Project, which involved SAP implementation. Prior experience includes roles as a Buyer for IT Procurement at Safeway and as a Regional Negotiator and Purchasing Agent at CEMEX and Rinker Materials, respectively. Mike holds an engineering degree from Iowa State University.
