Mike Wheeler

Mike Wheeler serves as an Engineering Sponsor at Kiewit, a position held since April 2001, where responsibilities include overseeing engineering efforts for multiple EPC power generation projects throughout the United States. Previous roles at Kiewit encompass Project Manager for significant projects like the Greenleaf 1 Energy Center and Roseveille Energy Park, as well as Manager of Operations for the Power Delivery division, ensuring efficient project execution. Wheeler has extensive experience in electrical engineering, with highlights including work on the Cove Point LNG Export Project and various combined cycle power plants. Prior to Kiewit, Wheeler was involved in controls engineering at Black & Veatch and served as a Coop Engineer with Nebraska Public Power District. Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
