Rusty Brown

Rusty Brown, CSP, serves as the Operations Safety Director at Kiewit since 2009, where responsibilities have included directing corporate safety controls and overseeing environmental health and safety within the power division. Prior experience includes serving as a Board Member and President for Grain Valley Schools from 2006 to 2012, and holding leadership roles in safety at GENESYS Systems Integrator and Ball, where significant reductions in recordable incidents and lost time injuries were achieved. Additionally, at PAR Electrical Contractors, Rusty developed comprehensive corporate safety and environmental programs. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management from the University of Central Missouri, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley.
