Scott M. is a dynamic Project and Engineering Leader with over 37 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Nuclear Engineering at Kiewit, Scott is focused on building a nuclear engineering department and developing governance for EPC nuclear engineering work. Previously, Scott retired in 2023 as the Director of Nuclear Fleet Operations at Xcel Energy, where they led capital projects and enhanced operational efficiency across several nuclear plants. Scott holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and is pursuing a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University. In their personal time, Scott enjoys family activities, travel, and volunteering as an Elder at their church.
