Spencer King is a mechanical engineer currently employed at Kiewit since June 2023, contributing to the design and development of mechanical systems in the industrial sector. Previously, Spencer led the aeroshell engineering efforts for the University of Kansas Solar Car team from August 2019 to September 2022, focusing on aerodynamic design using Solidworks. Spencer gained additional experience as a mechanical engineering intern at HorizonPSI and McFarlane Aviation Products, where responsibilities included developing material handling systems and designing aircraft components, respectively.
