John Franklin

John Franklin has a varied work experience. John co-founded Kilo in 2020 and currently holds that role. Prior to that, they worked at Two-Brain Business from 2018, focusing on growth. From 2013 to 2018, they founded and managed Flipside Performance, building and selling 5 gyms in multiple states. Before that, they worked at Abercrombie & Fitch from 2010 to 2012 as an Associate Merchant, and at Red Bull from 2006 to 2009 as a Student Brand Manager.

John Franklin obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Northwestern University, where they majored in Swimming. John attended Northwestern University from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, John also obtained various certifications over the years. These certifications include being a Bing Ads Accredited Professional from Microsoft (obtained in March 2019), a Google Partner from Google (obtained in April 2018), a Level 2 Coach from CrossFit, Inc. (obtained in November 2017), completing the "Leading with Finance" program at Harvard Business School (obtained in October 2016) as well as the "10kSB" program from Goldman Sachs (obtained in January 2016). John also obtained the "Gamification" certification from Coursera (obtained in October 2012), as well as the Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification from USA Weightlifting and Level 1 Coach certification from CrossFit, Inc. (both obtained in August and September 2012 respectively).
