Mateo Lopez has a strong background in the fitness industry, with experience in various roles and ownership positions. In 2014, they started working as an Operating Manager & Coach at Bowery CrossFit, where they remained until 2018. Following that, in 2016, Mateo became a Co-Owner of Hudson River Fitness, one of three gyms opened simultaneously, and successfully maintained profitability for many years. In 2017, they purchased and revitalized CrossFit Rittenhouse, ultimately selling it for a significant return on investment. Moreover, Mateo is currently the Co-Founder of Gym Lead Machine, a role they have held since 2018.
Mateo Lopez attended Columbia University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy. Prior to that, they attended Oakwood School from 1996 to 2009.
