Son Tu

Son Tu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Bavico Plastic, where their responsibilities included designing blowing molds and injection molding. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Global Equipment Services as a Senior Field Service Engineer, Site Leader, and Field Service Manager. In this role, they worked at various customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and maintain machines. From 2012 to 2018, Son Tu was the Supply Chain Director at Global Equipment Services, where they collaborated with various teams to ensure timely supply of materials. Since 2018, they have been working as the Vice Director of Supply Chain Management at Kimball Electronics, leading the supply chain efforts for smart handheld devices and hi-tech equipment.

Son Tu completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technical Training HCM in the years 1998 to 2003. Following that, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master's Degree in Reverse Engineering from the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences. In 2017 to 2019, they obtained an EMBA in Business Administration and Management, General from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. In terms of certifications, they have achieved the Project Management Professional certification from FMIT in 2013, the Metrology Equipment Integration and Maintenance certification from Rudolph Technologies in 2009, the Certification of Safety training from SEAJ Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan in 2007, and the CAD/CAM/CAE and CNC certification from Viet-Germany Center in 2003.
