Eric Plapper

Eric Plapper, AICP, serves as the Mobility Practice Lead at Kimley-Horn since September 2025, following a role as Principal at Stantec where responsibilities included leading zero emissions planning and managing EV community readiness projects. Prior experience includes serving as Program Manager at HDR, where Eric advanced in the officer track while managing a multimodal emerging technology portfolio and technical deliverables across multiple states. At Battelle, Eric contributed to a significant $40 million grant application for the Smart Columbus initiative and held planning roles at the Ohio Department of Transportation, providing policy guidance on economic development and rail safety. Eric holds a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University, a Bachelor’s degree in History from Connecticut College, and a Geographic Information Systems Certificate from Columbus State Community College.
