Ryan Hyllested, PLA, ASLA, is an experienced Landscape Architect currently working at Kimley-Horn since November 2017. Previously, Ryan held roles as a Landscape Architect at Westwood Professional Services from July 2013 to November 2017 and as a Landscape Designer at RLK Incorporated from August 2012 to July 2013. Earlier experience includes an internship at Wyss Associates, Inc., where Ryan contributed to construction documents and a 3-D model for a promenade in Rapid City, and two internships with the United States Air Force, focusing on community improvement projects and base development plans. Ryan also volunteered with the Minnesota Design Team and worked as a Resident Assistant at North Dakota State University, where a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design was earned. Additional experience includes work as an Independent Contractor for Garden Solutions and Design.
