About Kim's K-9
Kim's K-9 is a fully interactive daycare and boarding facility that has also been offering quality puppy and obedience training services for over thirty years in the West Michigan community. Our name is a staple in the Grand Rapids area and we are proud to welcome new members into the Kim's K-9 family to continue this tradition.

Kim's K-9 was founded by Kim Steffes in 1987 and proudly passed on to her student and friend, Martha Wiltse, in 2021. This is a family owned company that values every unique dog and family that walks into our doors.

At Kim's K-9, we DIG our team! Our intentional company culture is centered around these core values that we live and breathe by every day:

DIGNITY- Every member of the Kim's K-9 family is treated with respect for the unique, valuable person that they are!

INTEGRITY - We authentically care about the dogs and the humans, with joy and calm patience. We hold ourselves accountable to make the best decisions and are loyal to the team!

GROWTH - We are challenged to grow every day; mentally, emotionally and as a human person. We teach each other, we help each other, and we mentor and guide each other to success!
