Aybüke Yücel

Andrea Bourke is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development. Currently serving as an Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since March 2020, Andrea previously held positions including Lead Mechanical Component Engineer at GE Aerospace and Mechanical Design Engineer at ABB, with a focus on electrification products. Andrea has also contributed to GE’s research and development in electrical distribution products and is a successful graduate of the Edison Engineering Development Program. Prior experience includes educational roles at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, highlighting leadership in student instruction and sustainability initiatives. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Architectural Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
