John Olsen started their career as an Associate Finance Attorney at Mayer Brown in 2008 and worked there until 2009. John then went on to establish their own law firm, J.M. Olsen & Associates, where they served as the Owner & Lead Attorney from 2009 to 2013.
In 2014, John joined Wrigley as a Brand Management Intern, specifically working with Orbit Gum for a few months. John continued their journey at Wrigley and became an Associate Brand Manager for Fun Gum in 2015. In this role, they trained colleagues in new product forecasting and created business trackers using Nielsen data. John also led the development of non-TV support plans and managed budgets for Juicy Fruit and Hubba Bubba brands. John was promoted to a Senior Associate Brand Manager position in 2017, where they were responsible for leading demand forecasting for the Wrigley gum portfolio and successfully launching a new sub-line. John held this role until 2018.
From 2018 to 2021, John worked at Mars as a Brand Manager. Firstly, they managed the KIND Frozen brand, ensuring its success within Mars. Then, they took on the responsibility of overseeing Mars Ice Cream in the Americas.
Since 2021, John has been working as the Brand Director for KIND Frozen at KIND. John recently took up the position of Brand Marketing Director for the Bars division, showcasing their expertise and experience in the marketing field.
John Olsen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Dartmouth College in 2005. John then attended Columbia Law School from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. In 2013, John furthered their education at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Marketing Management & Management in Organizations in 2015.
