Savannah Slone has been working in various roles since 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were self-employed as a Freelance Poetry Editor and Writer. In 2018, they were an Editor In Chief at Homology Lit, Poetry Editor at Boston Accent Lit, Associate Series Editor at Wigleaf, and Editorial Assistant at The Lindenwood Review. In 2019, they became a Bothell/Redmond FRC Manager, Family Resource Coordinator, and Behavior Specialist at Kindering, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Tarrant County College.

Savannah Slone has a diverse educational background, beginning with an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Everett Community College, which they earned from 2013 to 2015. Savannah then transferred to Central Washington University, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in English: Professional and Creative Writing in 2016-2017. After that, they earned a Master of Fine Arts in Writing, General from Lindenwood University in 2017-2018. Most recently, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership from Cornell University in 2021-2022, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Equitable & Inclusive Leadership/Nonprofit Management/Sustainable Business at Antioch University.
