Early Support Infant Mental Health Manager at Kindering

Veronica Mega has over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Veronica began their career in 2002 as a Child and Family Therapist at We Care Services for Children, where they provided individual therapy, family therapy, and weekly consultation with classroom staff. In 2003, they joined Childhaven as a Program Director and Case Manager, where they managed all services provided by the branch, ensured compliance with contracts, and provided clinical supervision of administrative team. In 2010, they were promoted to Program Manager for Counseling and Family Support at Friends of Youth, where they supervised and coordinated all counseling and community education programs, managed related grants and contracts, and provided outreach to other providers and the community. In 2012, they moved to Eastside Center for Family as a Mental Health Therapist and then in 2013, they became a Mental Health Therapist at Bluestone Psychological Services. In the same year, they also began working at Olive Crest as a Mental Health Coordinator, where they provided clinical supervision of mental health clinicians and interns, coordination and standardization of treatment, and overall functioning of mental health program. In 2015, they joined Kaiser Permanente as a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator, where they provided consumers with appropriate mental health and/or chemical dependency treatment. In 2017, they were promoted to Clinical Director at Childhaven, where they developed and scaled an evidence-based, inter-disciplinary, and financially sustainable mental health program. In 2021, they became a Child and Family Therapist at Brightline, where they supported children and teens ages 3 to 17 years and their caregivers, using evidence-based approaches. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Kindering as an Early Support Infant Mental Health Manager.

Veronica Mega received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Sociology from the University of Utah in 1994, followed by a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle in 2000.
