In almost every home there is a closet with a box of family records: letters, journals, photos, and papers that is at risk of being lost, damaged, thrown out, or forgotten. And within almost every business, society, government, or organization, there are archives detailing its history that cannot easily be accessed or searched. With millions of records at risk of being lost to history, both record owners and record seekers need a solution that will ensure record preservation and accessibility for generations to come,

Our solution is Kindex: a collaborative indexing web software platform that not only archives digital records, but makes their content accessible and searchable through our proprietary transcription and tagging tools. With Kindex, anyone can 1) gather all available records into a single digital archive, 2) transcribe and tag records for searchability, and 3) search and share their archive. Kindex is poised to be the bridge that unites these records with the rising demand for searchable, accessible records from the multi-billion dollar family history industry.
