Garrett Olson

Garrett Olson is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software development and quality assurance. As the Founder and Lead Engineer of KindMind since 2014, Garrett has created an online journaling community that helps users process emotions and reflect on life experiences, utilizing technologies such as React and Ruby on Rails. Garrett has also held senior engineering roles at New Relic, Inc. since 2019 and previously contributed to projects at Renew Financial and Rumblefish, where notable achievements included leading a scalable Ruby application project and significantly reducing false positive royalty hits. Earlier experience at MINDBODY, Inc. included implementing automated testing frameworks, which drastically reduced manual QA efforts, as well as serving as Scrum Master for a major product redesign. Garrett holds a Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
