Emma Harrison

Emma Harrison is an Associate Analyst at Kinectrics since August 2021, currently focused on new build licensing and assessment in the Nuclear Safety & Licensing sector. Key contributions include developing a Preliminary Safety Analysis Report plan and co-authoring a Site Evaluation Report for a small modular reactor (SMR) project. Prior experiences include leading continuous improvement initiatives in High Voltage Testing, conducting technoeconomic analyses for cable production, and collaborating with the Human Performance Team on quality data analysis. Emma also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, aiding undergraduate engineering courses, and completed cooperative education placements at Environment and Climate Change Canada, as well as Natural Resources Canada's CanmetENERGY, where research focused on renewable energy and engineering regulations. Emma holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa.
