Leah Bates

Leah Bates has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Leah started their career as a Marketing and Promotions Intern at Good Karma Broadcasting in 2011. Leah then worked as a Social Media Marketing Manager at Anchor Inn, where they managed the website and social media strategy.

Leah also worked at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater as an Event Marketing Intern. Following that, they served as a Small Business Consultant at the Innovation Center.

In 2013, Leah joined Wilson Sporting Goods Co. as a Customer Service Specialist and later took on roles as an E Commerce Account Specialist and a Ecommerce Operations Specialist. Leah was responsible for managing online marketing activity for major accounts and handling order logistics.

Leah then worked as a Group Sales Coordinator at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery. Leah later transitioned to LulaFit where they served as a Group Fitness Instructor.

From 2015 to 2023, Leah worked at Alter Domus, starting as a Sales and Marketing Specialist and later becoming a Senior Marketing Event Manager for North America.

In 2023, Leah launched their own company, Purposeful Solutions Co., where they serve as the Founder and CEO. The company offers various marketing services to small and mid-sized businesses.

Currently, Leah works as an Account Manager at Kinetic Sequence, a role they started in June 2023.

Leah Bates obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a General Education with Spanish and Business emphasis at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree from 2008 to 2010. Leah Bates has also obtained multiple certifications, including ones in YouTube SEO, Copywriting for Social Media, Keyword Strategy, Bookkeeping, Finance Essentials for Small Business, Compensation and Benefits, Social Media Marketing Strategy and Optimization, Writing a Marketing Plan, HR as a Business Partner, Human Resources Foundations, Strategic Human Resources, and they have also obtained a Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training Card from the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. Additionally, they are certified in ServSafe and CPR/AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
