Breanne Everett has a diverse work experience. Breanne has served as Chief Executive Officer of Kinetyx Sciences Inc. since 2020, where they develop in-shoe sensor-based solutions for a broad range of sports and performance applications. From 2010 to 2020, they served as CEO and President of Orpyx Medical Technologies, where they developed sensor-based wearable solutions to manage and mitigate diabetic foot complications. In 2009, they were a Resident of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Alberta Health Services. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Loran Award Assessor for the Loran Scholars Foundation, a Member of the Joule Innovation Council for the Canadian Medical Association, and a Member of the Expert Judging Panel for Mitacs Entrepreneur Awards. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Member of the Scientific Review Board for the Pedorthic Research Foundation of Canada and a Member of the Selection and Assessment Committees for the Governor General Innovation Award.
Breanne Everett's education history includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Calgary, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Breanne then completed an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Biochemistry & The Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University from 2002 to 2006. Breanne is currently pursuing a degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Calgary.
