Kinewell is a technology company accelerating the global clean energy transition by developing and commercialising innovative, scalable solutions for the offshore wind sector. We apply advanced mathematics, artificial intelligence, and optimisation techniques to solve complex design challenges, reduce project costs, and maximise clean energy output.

A recognised leader in lifetime cost optimisation for low-carbon technologies, Kinewell’s products help energy developers design more efficient, resilient, and cost-effective offshore wind systems — driving faster project delivery and greater impact.

In 2025, Kinewell was honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade by His Majesty King Charles III — one of the UK’s most prestigious business accolades. The award recognises our strong and sustained growth in overseas markets.

We’ve also been named Gamechangers by RenewableUK’s Global Offshore Wind Awards and received the Dynamites Award for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion for our holistic approach to workplace equity and innovation. With 33% female representation and flexible, inclusive working practices, we’re proud to exceed industry norms and lead by example.

Our Products
🔹 KLOC – Kinewell Layout Optimisation of Cables
Rapidly generates optimised inter-array cable layouts for offshore wind farms, reducing cable length, lowering CAPEX, and increasing energy yield. Typically cuts cable system costs by ~20% over a project’s lifetime.

🔹 KDOTS – Kinewell Designing Offshore Transmission Systems
Supports early-stage offshore wind export system design by rapidly modelling multiple feasible transmission systems and identifying the most promising options for further development.

🔹 KWOTA – Kinewell Wake-Optimised Turbine Arrangement
Optimises turbine placement to reduce wake losses and maximise energy yield. Balances energy output with CAPEX and OPEX to lower the levelised cost of electricity (LCoE).
