Jim Nelson is an experienced journalist with a diverse background in reporting, anchoring, and production. Currently a Nightside general assignment reporter at KING 5 Media Group since April 2024, Jim has previously held significant roles including Sports Director at KVRR - FOX, where responsibilities included producing and anchoring sportscasts, and Sports Anchor/Reporter at KSFY-TV. Jim also served as Weekend Anchor/Reporter at WOIO and News Anchor/Reporter at WNWO, producing weekend newscasts and covering major stories. Other notable positions include Writer and Field Producer at Fox News, where Jim facilitated coverage of significant breaking events, as well as various play-by-play announcing roles in high school sports.
