Adam Cooper serves as the Chief of Staff for District Four of the King County Council since January 2016, while also holding the position of Legislative Assistant for the Washington State Senate since January 2010. In this role, Adam Cooper manages office operations and session staff for a senior Senator and acts as a liaison between Senate committee staff and the Senator. Additionally, since September 2005, Adam Cooper has been the Chair/Commissioner of the Mercer Island Planning Commission, overseeing judicial hearings and legislative matters. Adam Cooper holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Swarthmore College.
