Allison Cook

Allison Cook is a seasoned ecologist with extensive experience in environmental conservation and management. Currently serving as a Senior Ecologist for Stormwater Capital at King County, WA since October 2023, Allison previously held the position of Staff Biologist at the City of Tacoma from November 2021 to October 2023, focusing on the implementation of Tacoma’s Critical Area Preservation Ordinance codes. Prior experience includes a role as a Fish & Wildlife Biologist at the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife from October 2014 to October 2021, where involvement in habitat conservation, preservation, and restoration took place. Earlier in the career, a position as a Restoration Technician was held at the Washington Conservation Corps from September 2012 to September 2013, specializing in riparian restoration. Allison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington in June 2010.
