Chase Barton is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in water resources and environmental management. Currently serving as a Managing Engineer and Supervising Engineer for the River and Floodplain Management Section at King County since April 2010, Chase leads the Snoqualmie / South Fork Skykomish Basin team. Prior to this role, Chase worked as a Senior Engineer and Geomorphologist at Herrera Environmental Consultants from July 2003 to April 2010, and held positions as a Water Resources Engineer at Golder Associates in 2002-2003, and as a Staff Geologist at AGI Technologies from 1997 to 1999. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Western Washington University.
