Daniel Demay

Daniel DeMay is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager for King County, WA since August 2019, where responsibilities include managing internal and external communications and developing media plans. Previously, Daniel worked at SeattlePI.com as a Senior Editor from July 2015 to August 2019, overseeing daily operations and editing stories on transportation and Seattle culture. Daniel's early career encompassed roles such as a Business Reporter for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle and a Government Reporter for the Skagit Valley Herald, among others. Educated in journalism, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University and has contributed to various publications throughout a diverse career in media.
