Delaney Knottnerus

Delaney Knottnerus is an accomplished social work professional with extensive experience in behavioral health, prevention, and intervention strategies, particularly in school settings. Currently serving as the School Based SBIRT Manager and Prevention Specialist at King County, WA since December 2021, Delaney co-authored essential guidebooks for the SB-SBIRT model and has trained local school district staff to implement this model. Prior roles include consulting and training for Reclaiming Futures, individual and family therapy at Zane Counseling, and various positions in youth services and behavioral health coordination. Delaney holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington and certifications in substance abuse counseling, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
