Fred Mariscal

Fred Mariscal is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public health, government, and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Communications Manager for Public Health - Seattle & King County since February 2022, Mariscal leads communication efforts for various health initiatives, including chronic disease prevention and overdose response. Previous roles include serving as a Communications Manager at the British Embassy in Washington and as a Politics, Press, and Public Affairs Officer. Mariscal has also held positions with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, U.S. Census Bureau, American Red Cross, and Flavorus, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies, managing public relations campaigns, and enhancing community engagement. Mariscal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Southern California, along with additional studies in Communications and Marketing from Universidad Anáhuac.
