Jo Merrick

Jo Merrick has extensive experience in administrative and community service roles, currently working as an Administrative Specialist III for the Department of Community and Human Services since March 2014, with a focus on finance, administration, and project management. A long-time community advocate, Jo has been retired since June 2015, dedicating efforts to singing for memory patients and supporting homeless individuals, while also engaging in extensive studies. Prior roles include serving as an Administrative Specialist III for King County, where Jo coordinated accounts payable and utilized various software for project management. With a background as a lay leader and cantor at Temple Beth Am, Jo has harnessed the power of music to connect with individuals. Additional experience includes positions in technical support and office management, alongside education in linguistics and psychology/history.
