Nora Bennett

Nora Bennett is the Chief Treasury Officer at King County, WA. They previously served in various roles, including Treasury Operations Manager and Finance Manager, and engaged in project management and emergency planning as an Americorps Volunteer and Intern. Nora contributed to a National Science Foundation study on the socio-technical impacts of Hurricane Isaac while working as a Research Assistant at Western Washington University. They earned a degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Environmental Planning and Policy, as well as Disaster Reduction and Emergency Planning, from the same university.
