Peter Hu

Peter Hu is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in public service. Currently serving as Deputy Division Director and Human Resources Manager III at King County, WA, since December 2006, Peter leads a team that supports over 900 employees, focusing on HR service delivery in areas such as recruitment and labor relations. Previously, as a Leave and Absence Management Specialist, Peter provided expertise in various leave laws and managed complex absence cases. Additional roles included Disability Services Analyst and Executive Fellow II at Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, and Employment Consultant at PROVAIL. Peter holds a Master of Arts in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington.
