Simone Hamilton

Simone Hamilton is an adaptive visionary leader with over 10 years of experience in facilitating systemic change and advancing community well-being. They have served as the Director of Equity and Strategic Engagement for Kent School District since 2021, where they lead the implementation of race and equity policies while collaborating with district leadership to promote educational justice. Previously, Simone held roles such as Equity Specialist at Bellevue School District, Fund Development Associate at Capitol Hill Housing, and Public Works Manager at Seattle Repertory Theatre, demonstrating a consistent commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. They continue to work as a consultant and were recently appointed Board Chair of ART x Lab. Simone holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Washington.
