Hap Shashy

Hap Shashy is the Global Tax Practice Leader at King & Spalding LLP, a role they have held since 2012. Previously, they served as the Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service during the administration of President George H.W. Bush from 1990 to 1993. Hap earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law and a Master of Law in Taxation from New York University School of Law. They also hold a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics from the University of Florida.
