Mark Polston

Mark Polston is a Partner in King & Spalding’s Healthcare practice, co-chairing the firm’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry Group. With over 25 years of experience in Medicare reimbursement policy and fraud defense, Mark previously served as the HHS Deputy Associate General Counsel for Litigation for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Mark has a strong background in federal litigation, particularly focused on Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act regulatory policies. They began their legal career as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice and owned a law practice representing individuals in False Claims Act cases. Mark earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
