Simon Cowled

Simon Cowled is a distinguished partner at King & Spalding, leading the firm's Corporate, Finance & Investments practice group in Asia since May 2015 and serving as Co-Head of the Global Power Practice. Previously, Simon held positions as Counsel and Associate at Skadden Arps from December 2005 to April 2015, and as a lawyer in the corporate and projects groups at Gilbert + Tobin from April 2001 to December 2005, where notable transactions included significant energy project developments for Babcock & Brown. Earlier in his career, Simon worked as an analyst at Tinshed Venture Capital in 2000, specializing in due diligence and valuation models. Simon holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from Southern Cross University, completed between 1996 and 2001.
