Lee Simkins

Lee Simkins has over a decade of experience in auditing and risk management within the retail sector. Beginning as a Manager and later serving as the UK Operations Audit Manager at B&Q from 2000 to 2009, Lee transitioned to Castorama Russia as an Audit Manager in 2009. Since March 2018, Lee has held the position of Head of Internal Audit & Risk at Kingfisher UK Retail Operations, contributing significantly to store Health & Safety reviews and operational audits across various brands. Lee’s extensive experience also includes a role as Audit Manager for Kingfisher UK and Eastern Europe, managing a team responsible for compliance and safety audits. Educational background includes attendance at Peel Moat from 1979 to 1986.
