Markus Bird

Markus Bird is an experienced professional in commercial and vendor management, currently serving as the Head of Commercial and Vendor Management and Head of Procurement at Kingfisher IT Services since December 2006. Prior to this role, Markus held the position of Commercial Director for Indirect Channels at Orange Business Services for nearly a year. Markus's earlier experience includes significant roles at Diageo, where responsibilities included Strategic Relationship Manager, Global Category Director IT, and Global Category Manager for Telecommunications. Markus began a career in commercial management at Unisys from 1995 to 2000. Markus holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Bradford and a BA Hons in History and Economics from the University of Leeds.
