Dave Eden

Dave Eden, P.Eng. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in geotechnical and environmental management within the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Tailings & Environment at Kinross Gold Corporation since 2012, Dave oversees corporate tailings, dam safety, and heap leach geotechnical programs, as well as mine closure and Asset Retirement Obligation reviews, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Previous roles include managing environmental engineering studies at Ontario Power Generation and instructing risk management at the University of Toronto. Dave's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Toronto and a Master's in Geology, complemented by graduate studies at the University of Waterloo.
