Evan Lapointe

Evan Lapointe is an accomplished project director currently leading the Phase X Underground initiative at Kinross Gold Corporation since November 2016. Previously, Evan has held several key positions within the company, including Director of Strategic Initiatives for Africa, Regional Director of Exploration in Russia, and Acting General Manager & Project Director for the Chulbatkan project. Prior to joining Kinross, Evan worked at Gravitas Securities Inc. as Managing Director of Investment Banking focused on Mining & Energy, and held various roles in investment banking. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Geologist at Mercator Geological Services. Evan holds an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University, and both a BBA and a BSc in Geology from St. Francis Xavier University.
