Jeff Cox

Jeff Cox is a seasoned geologist with significant experience in the mining and exploration sectors. Currently serving as a Project Exploration Geologist at Kinross Gold Corporation since February 2019, Jeff is responsible for exploration drill hole planning, vendor management for exploration projects, and overseeing geological contractors to ensure successful drilling programs. Prior to this role, Jeff worked as a Mine Geologist, focusing on ore control, high wall stability, and collaboration with mine engineering and operations. Jeff’s earlier experience includes positions as a Contract Exploration Geologist and Contract Geologist with Geotemps, Inc. and Geopros, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed core logging, sampling, and training new geologists. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Arizona.
